The Beans

Organic and locally sourced

Our Honduras direct- trade relationship coffee comes from OCAFCAL, or the Cooperativa Capucas Limitada, is located in western Honduras, in the Celaque Mountains, one of the highest mountain regions in Honduras. In the cup, the flavors exude bright vegetal crispness with an underlying taste of sweet nuttiness. It is great served piping hot or left cold.  Our Common Grounds Blend combines South American coffees and is the crowd pleaser. It has notes of dark smokiness while remaining accessible and easy to drink anytime, more noon or dessert.

The Owners

Laura & Jason

The two of us grew up right here in Oaklyn. We are both graduates of Oaklyn Public School and Collingswood High School. We have always dreamt of opening a business together, and Jason has always had a love for coffee and espresso. So, when a coffee shop in our hometown was on the market, we jumped at the opportunity to give back to the community we cherished as children. Be sure to contact us or stop in and say hello – we can’t wait to see you!
